Obituary Brother Beierbach

Brethren we are saddened to share with you the Obituary of our Brother Ervin Beierbach

Ervin F. Beierbach, beloved father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 94 on June 5, 2015.  He was born on April 3, 1921 to Fredrick and Rebecca Redmann Beierbach in Ault, Colorado.

He grew up on the family farm in Ault and graduated from Plattville High School in 1939.

Ervin operated a farm prior to the outbreak of World War II.  He served his country in the U. S. Army stationed in the Philippines.  Ervin was in the Signal Corps and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.

The Signal Corps had the dangerous job of setting up radio communications on the Japanese held islands in the Pacific Theatre.  Ervin was one of the few members of his unit to survive the War.  He was honorably discharged from the U. S. Army on January 10, 1946.

Following the War, Ervin attended Colorado State University where he earned a degree in Soil Conservation.  He met and married his college sweetheart, Grady shortly after graduation.

Ervin and Grady moved to New Mexico in 1955.  They settled in T or C and opened a family business in 1956.  Mr. Beierbach continued to be active in the operation of the business until 2011.

Ervin was a 50+ year member of the Masonic Lodge (Bethesda Lodge No. 64 A.F.&A.M.) Order of Eastern Star and also held memberships in the Scottish Rite and York Rite for over 50 years.

Ervin was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Grady in 2013.  Survivors include Beverly Beierbach Wells (Dennis) and Barbara Anderson & Dennis.  He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Christopher Anderson and Jennifer Allen (Brian).  A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery.  For online condolences, please visit   Arrangements are by Kirikos Family Funeral Home, Inc. 303 N.
